Art of Transliness was started by two best friends, Zak and Adrian, who wanted to provide a resource for their fellow transmen. The attempt has been to create a magazine-like blog providing information on male fashion, skin care, presenting (“passing”), social issues surrounding transition, as well as sex and relationships. While we hope to cater to our followers to a certain extent, this is our original and primary purpose of this blog.
We accept and affirm the identities of genderqueer and gender variant people, and that of non-masculine identifying transmen and FTMs, although the articles we produce may not always be applicable to them. This is just a fun project we started together and it will largely reflect our interests. Having said that, it mostly contains information for young adult, American, straight guys on the transmasculine end of the spectrum. We strive to provide diversity but recognize that we cannot always do so because it is impossible to represent everyone.
If you want to provide another perspective or have advice on being a trans person of color, queer, feminine, being from another country, etc we encourage you to submit to us! Furthermore, if you find anything within this blog to be offensive, please write to us in our ask box and we will either edit/delete the post you find offensive or respond to you with our reasoning behind the post.
The Self Made Men is a tool used to serve the transgender male community. On one end, we educate and promote awareness of our existence, needs and normalcy to individuals and groups in both the GLBT and Allied communities. Mirrored to this cause, our biggest concerns lie with the support and mentoring of other transgender people as a resource to transitioning and dealing with everyday life.
Have you noticed the trend that all transmen are hot? Well, so have we, so we started a Tumblr!
This is a place to submit secrets and thoughts about being a female to male (FTM or F2M) trans person, regardless of transition status.
This blog is for FTMs, and by knowledgeable, active FTMs in the community. Submissions are allowed for any trans* related news or website, we ask that no self-promotion or fundraisers be posted. Also, check out some useful resources.
This is a safe space for FtM transgender men, genderqueer men, and anyone else on the FtM spectrum. This blog contains nudity so please take that into consideration when following.
Submit your photos, questions, and thoughts! All submissions must go through the Tumblr submit process. This is easier for the mods to approve and helps safeguard the email against viruses, etc.
The evolution of individual transwomen and transmen.
This is a journey, one of which is different for each person. Its nice to look back and see how far we have come, or see what we have to look forward to with the progress of our trans brothers and sisters. Everyone is making their own path. There is a point through out a transition when the mind is finally at peace with the body.
This is a place for the before, after, and through out. Feel free to post pics, ask questions, or introduce yourself!
transbears
Trans* bears is a place for trans* bears and cubs to submit pictures of themselves and share their stories. This is a body positive space intended to celebrate our diversity, so if you’re trans* and bearly you should submit!
