Queer as Youth is a place for youth ages 14 to 19 to meet and hang out with other youth while learning and expressing their creativity in a safe space.
Just Us is an Oasis Center program dedicated to serving young people, 13-21 years of age, who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or are questioning their sexual orientation and/or gender identity. Though not religious-based, this program can provide any of the following: individual support, events with peers, and group counseling. If you are ages 13-21, Just Us is a great place to start getting involved and learning more in a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Founded in 1970 to provide community-based care for youth experiencing alcohol and drug problems, Oasis Center has evolved over the past four decades into one of the nation’s leading youth-serving organizations, offering safety and support to Nashville’s most vulnerable and disconnected youth, while seeking to also teach young people how to transform the conditions that create problems for them in the first place.
